Trevor Langley - Wine and Restaurant Reviewer


Following a working life in Engineering, he entered a competition for a makeover and made it to leaderboard.  As a result he was invited to review County Shows and places and venues, new to him.  Sometimes it might be a new (or established) restaurant I have located or perhaps something about food/drink.  Trevor is very keen on locating good quality wines from across the world, at affordable prices!


Benedict Bull - Landscape & Horticulture Writer


Benedict Bull is a landscape gardener with specialist experience in laying out stud farms, the rehabilitation and adaptive re-use of historic landscapes, master planning and local community participation, and dendrology. His primary work today is to increase the mass of viridity in London, one space at a time.


Benedict is a published author on the Gardens of Afghanistan in 'The Middle East Garden Traditions: Unity and Diversity' and on Gardens and Horticulture in Baltistan in 'Karakoram'.


Sarah Goldsmith - History of Kensington


Sarah grew up in Virginia and has a Master's in History.


She taught history in the US before studying for a Law degree and practising Corporate Law in New York for several years.


After meeting her Spanish husband in New York, they've settled in Kensington and she now works in Canary Wharf, relishing her time spent researching Kensington's past.


Dr Alexandra Anderson - Science Bites


Dr Anderson lectures at Imperial College in the Department for the Division of Cell and Molecular Biology.  She is also a member of the Life Sciences Postdoc Committee.  Her articles of the magazine are 'bite sized' information relevant to that months theme and written for the lay person to understand.  




Ffiona - Restaurant Reviewers


Ffiona is very well known in the area, having run her own successful restaurant in Kensington Church St for over 15 years now.


Despite being a restauranteur she has always hankered after writing restaurant reviews. So we gave her the opportunity and she reviews restaurants the length and breadth of W8.


Dave Saunders - Crossword


Cumbria-born Dave is a cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator, as well as a crossword and puzzle compiler.  He was the regular political cartoonist for The Voice newspaper from 2006 to 2010.  He has also contributed to cinema-related publications, being a film buff, as as movie reviews and trivia.  He has worked in Kensington High Street for several years and enjoys sketching in the area.



Stephen Rodwell - Motorcars and Motor Boats


Stephen has had a strong passion for cars since way before being able to drive them. He has owned all manner of cars over the years, is a hardened supporter and follower of F1, in particular the McLaren Racing team attending a number of the European GP’s.


He also follows the Supercar GT1’s, attends modern & classic car shows and events on a regular basis as well as the launches of many of the new vehicles, also participating in a number of track events & track days.


He is a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club and a self confessed aficionado of fine wines who has visited vineyards across the world.


Victoria O Neill and Aletta Ritchie - Get Well Spoon - monthly receipes


Victoria and Aletta are both working mothers in Kensington.  Victoria loves writing receipes based on healthy foods but making them fun for children/parents alike and Aletta  provides beautiful illustrations for each one.  



Maria Perry and Charles Yorke - out and about in Kensington


Having lived in Kensington for many years, Maria is well placed to investigate goings on in Kensington.  In her past she was an actress, a journalist and has written several historical novels.  She knows everyone and everything that is going on in W8!


Charles Yorke illustrates Maria's articles.  He was formerly a caricaturist for The Spectator.
